The Yellow Book Road will be featuring San Diego Illustrators on the First Friday at Liberty Station.
It will be on October 4th from 6 to 8 pm.
The Society of Illustrators San Diego is teaming with the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators for their first show together!
There will be original illustrations on display as well as live demo’s and book signings.
For the Kids
Salina Yoon will share her new book for Halloween called “Where’s Boo?” She will also be doing an interactive demo of how to make her main character, Penguin, out of Play-Doh®.
Lori Mitchell will be doing an interactive demo of how to draw simple flowers and she will have coloring book pages from the original drawings from “Different Just Like Me”.
For the Adults
Helen Shafer Garcia will do a demo of her brilliant watercolor style.
Other illustrators displaying their work in the show include:
